Preparing a bale of hay for the newly weaned calves, all strings are tied together then all the ravenous beasts are let out...
Not every calf is a mere follower of the herd and one heifer gets a good idea...
And has a go at eating from a different angle - no competition up here. She will probably grow up to be the cow who knows how to open gates too.

All these bananas (3 lb/1.3kg/9) for a mere $2.50. They came from Brazil and I bought them at Daventry Friday Market.
