The gecko hunted in an enthusiastic manner, rushing up and down the window, seeming to prefer moths on the wing to resting moths. I didn't capture gecko in the act of catching a moth, the last one must have been a bit more feisty than the rest and he fell off the window while trying to subdue it.

a lake again

Instead of fixing our rain eroded dirt roads the shire graders were busy working the lake bed in Jerilderie. Because the lake had been dry for a long time, cracks opened up and they had to get rid of those before they could refill the lake.
Now water is being pumped in so it will be a lake again.
