My Blue Witch bag. I know it's a flower show but the bag was entered in the Craft section, Carry bag/Handbag category where it did have competition, four other entries and one a previous winner on at least one occasion.

Not the hopping kind but the growing in soil kind (also called Anigozanthos and there are lots of varieties). The buds above will open like the flower below.

Early yesterday afternoon it started raining. At first it was only very light but kept going and got heavier later in the afternoon and into the night. This morning there was (were?) 112 points (28mm) in the rain gauge.... that's the most we've had in one rain event for a long time, nine months infact.
