a pascle of pelicans

Or a pod, brief, pouch, raft (should be on the water), squadron (flying), scoop (fishing) - hope they fly clear of the power lines.

Great blog. Came across it at random. What a great word pascle is! I'll have to drop it into every conversation I have from now on and no McDonalds within 69 miles!? How do you survive?

Thank you Keith. Pascle is a great word but I think it should be passel (sounds the same so still drop it into conversation where ever possible) and a Mcdonalds free life, it's surprisingly tolerable. Honest.

I'm enjoying your photos. They take me to a place that I will never see. If you are "down under", I guess I am "up over" here in the north east U.S.. We have about six inches of snow here and are watching flocks of birds, cardinals, juncos, mourning doves, etc. feeding on sunflower seeds I put out for them. Temp in the single numbers..a new low of 3 degrees here this a.m.. You're not missing much with no McDonalds nearby! Photos of my New England at my blog, http://darnitall80blogspot.com.
